Reading, Writing and Rhythm An Evening of Food, Fun and Funk to Support K-12 Education
New Year’s Eve 2007

Together we can give every child the gift of reading and writing; the defining rhythm of all educational endeavors.
Please join us on December 31, 2007 for an exciting New Year’s Eve of food, fun & funk! The food, the friends and the festivities will be fabulous. The contagious beat of the Dynamics, the self-described Old School Funkmasters, will keep the dance floor full and your toes tapping. Our Chef is planning an exceptional evening of food experiences. From the Martinis and Hors‘doevres to the gourmet dinner selections and the decadent dessert served with champagne near midnight, it will be a treat for your palate. When you need a break from the food and the dancing, you’ll want to spend a little time exploring our silent auction or gathering your friends for a New Year’s Eve picture. As the evening winds down, we promise to send you off with many happy memories, the satisfaction of supporting an important cause, and breakfast!
Polish your dancing shoes and plan to join us at Alumni Hall as we ring in 2008! Ticket information will be available by September 2007!

Reading Writing & Rhythm – A New Year’s Eve celebration of Food, Fun & Funk is hosted annually by the Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools to raise funds to improve and enhance educational opportunities for local students. Our New Year’s Eve event in 2006 netted more than $30,000 to support literacy programs for MCCSC Students.
